A glass plate negative, Lincoln High School track team, Los Angeles, California, USA, 1903. The envelope includes title and subject of the image. A formal portrait of the team in a studio. There are twelve boys and one coach. Boys are dressed in their uniforms with sashes. The boy at center, perhaps the captain also wears several ribbons and pins on his shirt. Several trophies are displayed on the floor. The glass negative is taped at the edges with black tape. The glass plate and image appear to be in good condition. The envelope is in poor condition, brittle, tearing, and missing fragments.
