Mountain zebra are individualy recognizable from photographed individuals in the Mountain Zebra National Park were maintained from the 1950s to 1989 by a number of observers (Banie Penzhom, Anthony Hall-Martin, Hans Grobler, Peter Novellie and Achim Winkler) this database give the years of births, deaths and translocation of the known individuals from the inception of records up to 1989, when the record-keeping ceased. Note: there are gaps in the information in that the births and deaths of some individuals are unknown.
