Measured frequency of singer grumbles and moans within the song linked to the singer's dive time, surface interval, and proportion of their dive cycle spent underwater. Song is measured from acoustic recordings (1997 to 2024) and dives are identified within the song recording using the Lloyd mirror effect - song at the surface fades out until the singer descends to depth again. Frequency was measured using a custom-built Matlab script and the Q1 frequency was selected as the representative measure for lowest frequency.
