Transcriptomic profiling of Schistosoma mansoni following Smp_019690 knockdown and compound CH treatment

This project aims to investigate the transcriptomic changes and alternative splicing events in Schistosoma mansoni adult male worms following RNA interference of the Smp_019690 gene and treatment with a small-molecule compound (CH). RNA-seq was performed on worms treated with gene-specific dsRNA or CH, with appropriate negative controls (bacterial gene dsRNA and DMSO, respectively). Each condition was tested in biological triplicates. The dataset supports the identification of gene expression changes and potential regulatory pathways affected by genetic and chemical perturbation, contributing to the development of new anti-schistosomal therapies.
