Randomly selected human subjects were given Vitamin D gummies, with a placebo control, to be administered over 2 weeks. Fecal samples were collected over the time frame and a subsequent sample after 2 months was also collected. The samples were processed for DNA extraction and 16s Illumina sequencing was performed on them.
