Crystallisation pathways of REE carbonates and the hydrothermal wall-rock mineralisation of economic REE fluorcarbonate and REE phosphate minerals

The dataset relates to Dylan Prince's PhD thesis. It contains the raw data from the analyses and characterisation of various experimental samples from the synthesis of REE bearing minerals. The experiments are syntheses of various REE carbonates, REE fluorcarbonates and REE phosphate minerals from hydrothermal fluid-rock interactions. There is also data from tracking the evolution of the aqueous synthesis of various mixed REE carbonates. This includes data from SEM, EDS, XRD, FTIR, TEM, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, SIMS, UV-Vis, DLS analyses.
