Whole genome sequencing data of common waterbuck, defassa waterbuck, reedbuck, kob and puku

This dataset contains 54 common waterbuck individuals, 91 defassa waterbuck samples, and a single sample from each of six closely related species within the antelope tribe Reduncini: the mountain reedbuck and southern reedbuck; the Senegal, white-eared and Uganda kob and the puku. The mean sequencing coverage was ~3.4x per individual. The information of samples were found to be duplicates or discarded due to other technical issues, please refer to the publication for details.The study aimed at investigating genetic structure, population divergence and gene flow among waterbuck populations across the species range.
