<p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">This dataset provides a high-resolution reconstruction of vegetation changes, fire dynamics, and erosion in the vicinity of a Funnel Beaker Culture (TRB) cemetery in Sobota, western Poland. The data is derived from the Sob_2020 sediment profile (350–250 cm depth), representing the Neolithic period.</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">The repository includes the following primary data files (originally tabs within Supplementary Data 2. Sobota_full_dataset.xlsx):</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- OxCal code.csv: The script containing the Bayesian P_Sequence model used to establish the Sobota_2020 profile’s chronology.</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- Age-depth values_F3.csv: The age-depth relationships (BCE), 1 sigma error (calibrated years), sedimentation rates retrieved from the age-depth model.</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- Pollen %_F4,5,6.csv: Calculated percentage values adjusted for percentage diagrams in Figs 4 and 5 used to determine vegetation composition, and NMDS based on percentage pollen values in Fig. 6. </span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- Pollen PAR_F4,5,6,7.csv: Pollen Accumulation Rates (grains cm⁻² yr⁻¹), providing a proxy for absolute plant productivity. Data are applied to determine vegetation composition in Figs 4 and 5, NMDS based on PAR values in Fig. 6, and Fig. 7 box-plots; in this file, there is also microcharcoal (0.01-0.1 mm) (particles cm⁻² yr⁻¹).</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- Macrocharcoal_F4,6,8.csv: macrocharcoal data as raw values and accumulation rates (particles cm⁻² yr⁻¹), and microcharcoal accumulation rate (0.01-0.1 mm)(particles cm⁻² yr⁻¹). </span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- OrgMat-grain size_F3,4,5,6.csv: Lithological data including CaCO₃ content, organic matter (LOI), and granulometric parameters (mean phi, sorting, sand/silt/clay percentages) used to track erosion, lake shallowing, and carbonate sedimentation.</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- Pollen_raw data- full dataset.csv: Raw counts of pollen grains, spores, other non-pollen palynomorphs (NPPs), and microcharcoal.</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb( 31 , 31 , 31 )">- Pollen %_full dataset.csv: Percentage values of all identified pollen grains, spores, other non-pollen palynomorphs (NPPs), and microcharcoal.</span></p>
