A survey on profitability of farming edible insects from the perspective of food producers

[ENG:]The dataset comprises the results of a survey conducted among food producers regarding the profitability of edible insect farming. The data includes information on perceived production costs, potential profits, barriers to market entry and the level of interest in undertaking this type of activity. The scope of the data covers both closed-ended questions (rating scales, multiple-choice) and semi-open-ended questions allowing respondents to express their opinions.The survey was conducted using the Computer-Assisted Web Interview (CAWI) method, which enabled the collection of both quantitative and qualitative data. The measurement was based mainly on Likert scales and single- and multiple-choice questions.Data collection was carried out nationwide.The study was conducted from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
