Landsat-8是美国陆地卫星计划（Landsat）的第八颗卫星，由NASA与美国地质调查局（USGS）合作开发并于2013年2月11号发射成功。Landsat8 卫星包含OLI（Operational Land Imager 陆地成像仪）和TIRS（Thermal Infrared Sensor 热红外传感器）两种传感器。OLI陆地成像仪包括9个波段，空间分辨率为30米，其中包括一个15米的全色波段，成像宽幅为185kmx185km。TIRS热红外传感器TIRS包括2个单独的热红外波段，空间分辨率为100米。

Landsat-8 is the eighth satellite of the U.S. Landsat Program, jointly developed by NASA and the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and successfully launched on February 11, 2013.
The Landsat 8 satellite carries two sensors: the Operational Land Imager (OLI) and the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS).
The OLI consists of 9 spectral bands, with a spatial resolution of 30 meters, including a 15-meter panchromatic band, and has an imaging swath of 185 km × 185 km.
The TIRS features two separate thermal infrared bands, with a spatial resolution of 100 meters.
