Breakdown of investors in the French sovereign green bond 2018, by asset type

The green sovereign bond (Green OAT 1.75% 25 June 2039), launched by Agence France Trésor on 24 January 2017 in continuity with the Paris Climate Agreement, is a bond for which the use of the funds is dedicated to a project (or set of projects) with a positive environmental impact. The Green OAT has a diversified investor base in terms of asset type, and it appears that investments are primarily made by asset managers and bank treasuries, each of which representing 24 percent of Green OAT investors in 2018.
