Net AUM of UCITS investment funds in Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands 2015-2023

The quarterly net assets under management (AUM) of the UCITS industry in the Benelux region (Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands) generally increased, albeit with some fluctuation, from the first quarter of 2015 to the third quarter of 2023. UCITS and AIF are terms that cover investment funds as financial assets. UCITS stands for Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities and at its core stands for investment funds that are domiciled in Europe and regulated by the European Union. In the third quarter of 2023, Luxembourg, the biggest domicile when it comes to the European UCITS industry, had a net asset value of approximately 4.1 trillion euros.
