Sustainable governance of river basins with Hydropower production, 2017

This project was a “Knowledge-building Project for Industry”. 2015 - 2018. The project was a part of CEDREN, funded by the Norwegian Research Council while partners within the industry, professional organizations and public administrative agencies contributed financially. The aim of the project was to contribute to an adopted water administration in regulated water systems that will be accepted both locally and nationally. SusWater employed a knowledge and dialogue-based approach in order to strengthen administration practices that included both an economic- societal and environmental dimension. The project contains one closed survey using the programme enalyzer targeting water managers, hydropower producers and NGOs, and one open survey targeting anglers and kayakers in Hordaland and Agder. The surveys were conducted in 2017. The data is freely available for download.
