资源简介:
This dataset were collected to investigated the relationship between flower visitors and plant communities in grasslands with distinct time-since-fire in South Brazil. We studied 12 grassland sites (sampling units) from three time since last fire categories: freshly-burnt (FB; n = 4; 2 to 6 months after fire), intermediate-burnt (IB; n = 4; about one year after fire), and old-burnt (OB; n = 4; at least two years after fire). Half of the grasslands (two of each category) were sampled in the 2015/2016 growing season (Spring/Summer/Fall), and the other half in the 2016/2017 growing season. At each grassland we established six 10 x 10 m plots, distant more than 10 m from each other, where we sampled data related to (i) habitat (temperature, moisture, plant biomass (g), bare soil and grasses (% cover); (ii) flowering plant communities (inflorescences abundance and richness), and (iii) flower-visitor insect communities (abundance and richness).
