Single-cell transcriptomics of CD8 T cells from kidney transplant recipients with and without Cytomegalovirus DNAemia

To study the phenotype of CD8 T cells in cytomegalovirus (CMV) DNAemic patients after kidney transplantation, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing on 4 DNAemic patients at 3 timepoints (baseline, 1 week post-DNAemia, and a long-term timepoint 9-18 months post-DNAemia) matched with 4 non-DNAemic patients at 2 timepoints (baseline and long-term).
