RNA sequencing with a mechanically stressed Arabidopsis VIP1-GFP and VIP1-SRDX overexpressors

VIP1 is a transcription factor involved in regulating responses to mechanical stress in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The VIP1-GFP fusion protein can act as VIP1, whereas the VIP1-SRDX fusion protein can dominantly repress VIP1 target genes. The goal of this project is to compare transcriptomes between wild-type, VIP1-GFP-overexpressing and VIP1-SRDX-overexpressing leaves that have been mechanically stressed by brushing.
