This dataset provides range correction models for Laser Retroreflector Arrays (LRAs) mounted on Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. The corrections account for dependencies on incidence azimuth, elevation angle, and laser wavelength.OverviewThis dataset includes correction products for three LRA geometric configurations:Tetrahedral LRASatellites: GRACE-C, GRACE-D, SWARM-A, SWARM-B, SWARM-CDescription: Four-cube tetrahedral corner-cube configuration.Hemisphere LRA with 7 Corner CubesSatellites: JASON series, Sentinel-3A, Sentinel-3BDescription: Hemispherical base equipped with seven corner cubes.Hemisphere LRA with 9 Corner CubesSatellites: Sentinel-6ADescription: Hemispherical base equipped with nine corner cubes.For each configuration, range corrections (in millimetres) are provided as functions of:incidence azimuth angle (0°–360°),elevation angle (0°–90°),laser wavelength (e.g., 532 nm, 1064 nm).These corrections can be applied to Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) observations to improve ranging accuracy.UsageTypical applications include:interpolating correction values for specific azimuth, elevation, and wavelength,applying corrections to raw SLR range measurements,visualising correction surfaces across incident geometry.General workflow:Load the correction table corresponding to the satellite’s LRA geometry.Interpolate the correction value based on azimuth, elevation, and wavelength.Apply the correction to the measured SLR range.
