Staphylococcus aureus strain:UASD_DUBANI_P1 Genome sequencing

This BioProject aims to characterize stress-tolerant bacterial isolates from the Las Calderas coastal dunes in Bani, Dominican Republic. Whole genome sequencing of Staphylococcus aureus strain DBan_P1and Bacillus endophyticus strain DBan_P2 was performed to identify genomic features associated with adaptation to high salinity and temperature. The generated genomic resources will support future studies on microbial diversity, environmental adaptation, and potential biotechnological applications of extremophilic bacteria from Caribbean ecosystems.
