RNA sequencing of whole muscle from lung cancer (393P tumor cell line) and healthy mice

This study used 4 vehicle (PBS injected) and 4 tumor-bearing (393P lung adenocarinoma cell-injected) mice. The goal of the study was to characterize a new model for lung cancer-associated muscle wasting. At the survival end point of tumor mice, whole gastrocnemius muscle was harvested and used for RNA isolation. The RNA was used for RNA sequencing which was conducted by the Mayo Clinic Medical Genome Facility Genome Analysis Core.
