This dataset contains experimental acoustic data recorded in a Low Turbulence wind Tunnel (LTT) 2020 campaign. This data was collected with a phased-microphone array. The goal of the campaign was to investigate the influence of reflections and any acoustic disturbances (such as background noise) on the accuracy of the acoustic results. Numerical acoustic simulations were run to predict the acoustic response of the wind tunnel test section. Based on the results from the numerical simulations, the post-processing of experimental acoustic data was improved, by correcting the Green's function used in Beamforming. The numerical setups, the numerical results and the MATLAB code used to calculate the Green's function correction are included in this dataset.This experimental data, numerical simulations and post-processing code provide the basis for the results of the publication: Mourão Bento, H. F., et. al. Wave propagation modelling approach for improved assessment of the acoustic field in closed test section wind tunnels. Journal of Sound and Vibration (2025).The numerical setups can be opened with COMSOL Multiphysics software.This dataset includes:<strong>dataset_main.7z:</strong> COMSOL acoustic numerical setups and their results.
