The gut microbiota of hypertension long-lived elderly

Longevity population as a model of successful aging, numerous research focused on the relationship between gut microbiota, fecal short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), and longevity. However, the phenomenon of hypertension is more common in the longevity area of Guangxi and whether hypertension is associated with longevity remains unclear. Here, we hypothesize that the levels of gut microbiota, SCFAs, and urine metabolites were different between hypertension elderly and hypertension longevity.
