Single Nuclei Multiome of the NABEC Cerebral Cortex

We generated paired single nucleus multiome ATAC plus gene expression data in 202 human brain samples from the North American Brain Expression Consortium (NABEC, dbGaP parent study accession phs001300). These samples were collected from the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex of neurologically healthy individuals of European descent (n=202) ranging in age from 15 to 100 years old. Each donor sample has one bam file with snRNA-seq gene expression data and one bam file with snATAC-seq chromatin accessibility data. This is paired data, so after QC of each data type, gene expression and chromatin accessibility data can be combined to a single matrix based on matching cell barcodes.
