Force-distance-dependencies for the adhesive contact of cylinders

We investigated numerically the detachment behavior of some flat, but oddly shaped cylindrical contact in the frame of JKR adhesion. For each sample, we find detachment regions and resulting adhesive force as a function of the separation distance. Related article: Pohrt, R., & Popov, V. (2015).
