Using this dataset, we examined - the relation between the average number of peacock butterflies in Belgium per record submitted (a measure of abundance) (by week, for weeks 10–44) and the percentage of the butterflies reported that are also illustrated with pictures. - the relation between the abundance of peacock butterflies in Belgium by week and the number of pictures submitted in that week differentiated for the average state of wear of butterflies in that week for the first, second, and third flight peak. - the relation between the condition of peacock butterflies in Belgium by week (weeks 10–44) and the proportion of records with pictures submitted in that week. - the relation between the condition of peacock butterflies in Belgium by week (weeks 10–44) and the proportion of butterflies illustrated with pictures submitted in that week.
