资源简介:
Lactobacillus fermentum (NCDC 400) is a common commensal organism of gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and comprehensive studied for its probiotic attributes. It is a facultative heterofermentative category of bacterium which is very much industrially important for the food and dairy based industries and particularly used as a starter culture for milk fermentation. The capability to endure the harsh environment of the gastrointestinal tract, in the presence of bile in gastric juice, is one of the uniqueness is bacterium to transiently inhabit the host. In the present study, we have used paired-end sequencing library using QIAseq FX DNA Library kit and identified total of 17733506 High Quality reads on Illumina Platform. These Reads were assembled into assembly of Lactobacillus fermentum strain NCDC 400. The identified protein coding genes were predicted using GeneMarkS wherein 1996 genes (and proteins) were found and these proteins were annotated using BlastP against NR database of NCBI with evalue < 1e-6 and 1961 of these genes were found to be homologous to Lactobacillus fermentum spp proteins in NR database.
