From 2019 to 2021, a deep fertilization experiment was conducted in Jianli County, Hubei Province, China. By measuring soil N2O emission flux, soil moisture, soil temperature, soil organic carbon and nitrogen content, microbial diversity, and rapeseed yield, the study investigated the impact of different fertilization depths on soil N2O emissions in mechanically direct-sown winter rapeseed fields.
