资源简介:
Blastn analysis was performed between the Escherichia coli (E coli U00096.2) and Haemophilus influenzae L42023 genome. A good number of similarities or alignments by Blastn were observed between these two genomic sequences. The accompanying dataset shows the results. E coli exists as a normal and common gut microbiome. However, it is ‘megatronous,’ and it is known to be the most common cause and the perpetrator of upper and lower urinary tract infections. This is more pronounced in diabetic and immunocompromised patients. A dedicated vaccine is not available in the current scenario. The genomic sequence coding for P fimbriae of E coli can be copied and added to the H influenzae genome through a plasmid or phage. This will provide a source for Haemophilus influenzae (‘Bumble bee’) vaccine, which could effectively reduce the severity of E coli infections.
