Study on housing conditions among low-income families, 1995

The dataset is gathered from “Study on housing conditions among low-income families, 1995” that was carried through in 1995 on behalf of SINTEF Building. It is a paper/pencil questionnaire about the living conditions among families with low income and who are living in large cities: Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Drammen.

The aim of the survey was to gain a better groundwork for national and local-governmental planning of housing projects.

The survey targets troublesome (“vanskeligstilte”) persons whom are categorized in the following way: Persons are gathered from families that consist of one or more persons, with a gross income for the tax assessment period of 1993 that is lower than the housing bank's (Husbanken) limit for assignment of rent allowance.
