资源简介:

This package provides all resources necessary to reproduce the results and analyses from the study on the binary hard-sphere glass presented in the paper 'Characterizing the cage state of glassy systems and its sensitivity to frozen boundaries'. In the study, we characterize the cage state (CS), a structural quantity that represents the average positions of particles when rearrangements are forbidden. We investigate how the CS in a binary hard-sphere mixture depends on packing fraction and boundary conditions. To do so, we adopt a methodology inspired by point-to-set correlation measurements, in which particles outside a spherical cavity are frozen while the cage state is measured inside the cavity. Package structure [CODES]: Scripts to initialize glass configurations, measure dynamic evolution (dynamic propensity), and compute the cage state in both unfrozen systems and cavities. [DATA]: Initial configurations, propensities, cage states (frozen and unfrozen), and the standard deviation (SD) of particle positions within their cages for all studied systems. [FIGURES]: All figures from the paper, along with analysis notebooks, Adobe Illustrator files, and supporting data for figure generation. Each directory contains a READ_ME.txt file that describes the content of the directory.
