Mesocoms study of prokaryotic and viral community succession during induced phytoplankton spring bloom. EcoMol Planktoron Mesocosm Metagenome and Metavirome sequencing

During a 35 day long experiment, the prokaryotic and viral communities of four replicates were sampled regularly to gain insight into short term community flucutations and succession during highly productive and North Sea typical spring bloom. WGS Metagenome samples were taken from a 3 µm filter fraction WGS Metavirome samples were taken from a 0.02 µm fraction and concentrated using a viivaflow 200 casette with a 30 kDA cut off.
