Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common malignancy in the head and neck region, posing significant challenges in cancer treatment and management. However, the role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) secreted by oral bacteria in OSCC largely unknown. This study aims to illuminate the potential influence of bacterial EVs, specifically those derived from Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (Aa), on OSCC progression.
