NRS-4240 | Copies of letters sent concerning disciplinary action taken against public servants and concerning legal matters

These volumes contain copies of letters sent to public servants notifying them of their suspension or dismissal from the service, calling upon them to show cause why they should not be suspended or removed, and accepting resignations tendered. Formal grounds for suspension or dismissal are shown in each case. Copies of letters sent in reply to petitions for remissions or commutations of sentences, and requesting Judges to attend Council meetings to report on capital convictions are also included. Indexes are located in the front of each volume, arranged alphabetically by name of officer. (4/1683-87). 5 vols.
