Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon concentrations in Northern Gulf of Mexico field oil samples collected from May 2010 to November 2011

This dataset reports the concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from samples collected in DeSoto Canyon, Barataria Bay, Chandeleur, and Gulf Shores from May 2010 to November 2011. The concentration of naphthalenes, fluorenes, phenanthrenes, dibenzotihophenes, pyrenes, benz[a]anthracene, and chrysenes are reported in milligrams per kilogram. Latitude, longitude, and dates where samples were collected is reported. Three surface slick samples (S1, S2,S5) were collected from May to June 2010. Five sand patties (B33, B47, B65, B85, B91) and one rock scraping (R11) were collected from July 2010 to November 2011.
