RCSEDv2 is the largest global galaxy attribute database developed by Lomonosov Moscow State University, containing detailed information for 4.6 million galaxies. This dataset integrates data from multiple large-scale spectroscopic surveys including SDSS, LAMOST and others, as well as multi-band photometric data from surveys such as GALEX, SDSS, UKIDSS and others. During its development, the research team adopted unified analytical tools and technologies to ensure consistent data processing. RCSEDv2 is primarily utilized for studies of galaxy formation and evolution, as well as analyses of large-scale cosmic structures, providing a solid foundation for future large-scale spectroscopic surveys such as DESI and 4MOST.
