Results of study evaluating impact of an Olympia oyster restoration project on eelgrass in Alamitos Bay, Long Beach, CA led by researchers at CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach, and Orange County Coastkeeper. Researchers monitored changes in light intensity, eelgrass shoot density, biomass, leaf morphometrics, and epiphyte load in an adjacent eelgrass compared to control and reference eelgrass beds to assess impact of constructed oyster bed.
