Extrapolated weather data from June 2011-2020 from World Weather Online (https://www.worldweatheronline.com/) based on two weather stations nearest Lake Nabugabo, including Entebbe International Airport (0°03’ N, 32°28’ E; 80 km northeast of Nabugabo) and Mbarara (0°36’ S, 30°40’ E; 137 km southwest of Nabugabo). We used the inverse distance weighting (IDW) method to estimate weather parameters at Lake Nabugabo by interpolating weather conditions at the field site (Teegavarapu and Chandramouli 2005).
