Homo sapiens Transcriptome or Gene expression

Human U937 histiocytic lymphoma cells, optionally also differentiated to macrophages, were treated with lysozyme (LZ) and LZ extracted from LZ-containing microspheres (MSLZ) at different concentrations. Here we investigate the differential gene expression induced by rteatment with LZ and MSLZ-extracted-LZ to get insights on the farmacological effects of these changes. The cells were exposed to LZ for 1h or 24h to analyse, by RNA-seq, the differential expression at different time points after the end of the treatment.
