Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Quality Assessment Program (TBQA). Mycobacterium tuberculosis
收藏资源简介:
The purpose of the Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (Mtb) Quality Assessment Program (TBQA) BioProject site is to provide a centralized location to share Mtb genomic data obtained from strains sequenced under the TBQA program. TBQA is a NIAID funded program to assess the ability of CONUS and OCONUS laboratories to perform Mtb testing to diagnose active and latent Mtb infection, monitor disease progression, and assess treatment response and vaccine efficacy in direct support of clinical trials. MRIGlobal is the program lead for TBQA, and will serve NIAID-sponsored and collaborating clinical trials networks and cohorts as well as individual NIAID grantees conducting research in and outside the U.S. Under the TBQA contract, MRIGlobal is responsible for providing resources, technology reviews, and best practices to assist the labs in their ability to accurately and reliably perform study-specified Mtb tests (e.g. next-generation bacterial DNA and RNA sequencing, serial sputum colony count on solid media, time to positivity in liquid culture, minimal inhibitory concentration assessment, and host-based assays).
