Transcriptome-wide analysis of human disseminated leishmaniasis lesions

Biopsies of lesions from seven patients with disseminated leishmaniasis (DL), an emerging form of American Tegumentary Leishmaniasis, were subjected to transcriptome-wide profiling and compared against control skin, aiming the characterization of the in situ immune landscape involved in this disease.
