Copepod Tisbe holothuriae assembled mRNA

Here, we present the first genomic resource from the surface associated copepod Tisbe holothuriae. Animals in all life stages were sampled and any non-copepod particle removed by repeated rinsing as well as by manual removal of particular matter. RNA was purified using RNeasy from Quagen and Truseq stranded mRNA kit was used to produce sequencing libraries. 2x150nt Illumina Nextseq 500 technology was used for sequencing and the resulting sequences were assembled using Trinity.
