资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic nitrous oxide and oceanic methane made by Jon Barnes during the RRS Challenger 118C research cruise in Great Yarmouth and Berwick-Upon-Tweed as part of the River Atmosphere Coastal Study (RACS) under the Land Ocean Interaction Study (LOIS). The cruise began on 28th April 1995 and ended on 11th May 1995 with a spatial coverage of +53N and +56N latitude and +2E and +2W longitude
The data set consists of:
-67 measurements of the concentration of methane (CH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by gas chromatography;
-67 measurements of the saturation of methane (CH4) in the water column (dissolved phase) by computation from concentration;
-68 measurements of the concentration of nitrous oxide (N2O) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by gas chromatography; and
-68 measurements of the saturation of nitrous oxide (N2O) in the water column by gas chromatography and computation from concentration.
