Cognitive Trapeze — AI Writing Lab: Text-to-Image Pedagogy and Learner Productions in Cameroonian ZEP

This dataset demonstrates a novel pedagogical method where generative AI serves as a motivation and immediate visual feedback tool for descriptive writing in large, low-resource classrooms. It contains AI-generated images produced from anonymized learner-written descriptive texts (based on the character Faydé from the prescribed Cameroonian text Cœur du Sahel). The method operationalizes the "Short Loop" of the Cognitive Trapeze Model, transforming abstract writing into concrete, visual experiences. Ethical note: All learner texts were strictly anonymized; pseudonyms are used. No real student photographs or biometric data are included. Data collection was conducted under MINESEC authorization (Ref. N° 658/2026/AR/H/DRES) with written parental consent and child assent.
