Brownfield Staff Coverage

This data layer is used in the Brownfield Redevelopment Program Staff Viewer. This dataset provides information about staff working on Brownfield Redevelopment within Michigan's Brownfield Assessment and Redevelopment Section, Remediation and Redevelopment Division, EGLE. Contact information, coverage areas, and staff biographies are available for field staff who cover specific regions of the state as well as managers and statewide specialists housed in EGLE's Main Lansing Office. Brownfield properties are those in which the redevelopment or reuse of the property may be complicated by the presence or perception of contamination. Revitalizing and redeveloping these properties protects the environment, reuses existing infrastructure, minimizes urban sprawl and creates economic opportunities. The Remediation and Redevelopment Division provides assistance including grants, loans, tax increment financing and free environmental site assessments to facilitate the redevelopment of brownfield properties.
