Data file: Self-reg_stress_school_wellbeing.sav Format: SPSS (.sav) Number of observations: 692 Number of variables: 19 Dataset Content and Structure This dataset contains individual-level and classroom-level data on school stress, self-regulation, and student well-being. The variables include: Demographic data (e.g., sex, grade) Self-regulation measures (emotional, behavioral, and cognitive regulation) School stress indicators (academic, peer, and teacher-related stress) School well-being scales (joy of learning, academic efficacy, relationships with teachers and peers)   Methodology This dataset was collected as part of a study examining the role of self-regulation as a mediator and moderator in the relationship between school stress and student well-being. The data enable a multilevel analysis of how stress on individual and classroom levels is associated with student well-being. The study used a multilevel approach (HLM), analyzing both individual and classroom-level factors.   Study Details Date of data collection: June 5-6, 2024 Sampling method: Students from public primary schools in a medium-sized city in Poland Data collection method: Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI) conducted in school IT labs under supervision Ethical approval: Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Education, University of Warsaw (No. 2024/2)   Note: Please consult the readme.txt file for additional information on variables, coding, and research methodology.
