Seasonality in Marine Organic Carbon Export and Sequestration Pathways

This is the dataset for the manuscript Seasonality in Marine Organic Carbon Export and Sequestration Pathways submmited to Global Biogeochemical Cycles. The nc file seasonal_biopump_model_output.nc includes model outputs and monthly carbon export and sequestration by gravitational, migrant, and mixing pumps, as well as associated uncertainty. Values of simulated state variables are ensemble median. Uncertainty is estimated as the half range of ensemble members. The nc file seasonal_biopump_model_ensemble.nc includes the the outputs and diagnosed carbon export and sequestration for all the ensemble members. We also provide an example matlab script on how to read the nc file and draw maps and time series of carbon export as well as calculating biological pump budget.
