Log handling device and method for log handling

A log handling device (1) comprising a rotatable rotor (3) provided with log handling means (4) and a supply means (5) attached to the rotor (3) for guiding the working medium to the log handling means (4). The feed means (5) is arranged to wind around the rotor (3) when the rotor (3) is rotated in the first direction， and which feed means (5) is arranged to wind away around the rotor (3) when the rotor (3) is rotated in the second direction. The log handling device (1) comprises a rotatable second rotor (6) to which the feed means (5) is attached and an actuator for rotating the second rotor (6) synchronously with the rotor (3) so that the feed means (5) is arranged to rewind the second rotor (6) when the rotor (3) is rotated in the second direction， and that the feed means (5) is arranged to rewind away from the second rotor (6) when the rotor (3) is rotated in the first direction.
