National Park Hohe Tauern Biodiversity Day 2014-18-20 July 2014 — Seebachtal (Carinthia) — Results report

From 18 to 20 July 2014, the eighth National Park Hohe Tauern Day of Biodiversity took place in the Seebachtal (Carinthia). At this event, 70 experts were able to demonstrate 1,483 species of animals, plants and fungi (as well as subordinate systematic units) for this area of study. The proven species have been integrated into the Biodiversity Database of the Hohe Tauern National Park as a result of the “National Park Hohe Tauern Day of Biodiversity 2014” as a “increase” of almost 4,500 datasets. A total of 1,893 species of animals, plants and fungi (as well as subordinate systematic units) are now detected in the study area.
