Salinity and bottle samples data from cruises in the Kara Sea in 2021

The dataset contains data from three cruises (AMK 83 and AMK 86, AI 58) in Kara Sea in June, August and October-November in 2021.
Folder [Samples data] contains depth and salinity data from SBE 911plus probe, it also includes total alkalinity (TA) and silicates (Si) in [μM/kg] from bottle samples along with stations metadata (longitude, latitude, date). This folder also includes salinity profiles (1 meter resolution) for upper 20-m layer for two stations near sea ice edge in June (AMK83_Salinity profiles). Data was used to perform vertical salinity distribution and regression analysis.
Folder [FW_percentage] contains data on freshwater shares of different origin (Ob, Yenisei and sea ice meltwater) obtained by four-member mixing model (system of linear equations). This dataset is used to analyze structure of surface desalinated layer of the Kara Sea formed by river runoff of Ob and Yenisei Rivers and sea ice meltwater using chemical proxies of freshwaters (Salinity, TA, Si).
