The Long-Term Remote Sensing Monitoring Dataset of Land Use/Cover in the Baiyangdian Wetland covers vector data of land use/cover types and their spatio-temporal change characteristics of the Baiyangdian Wetland from 1975 to 2023.
This dataset systematically and comprehensively reveals the spatio-temporal variation characteristics and driving factors of wetland changes in the Baiyangdian Wetland from multiple perspectives including wetland area, wetland types and spatial distribution. It can systematically display the change processes and regularities of the Baiyangdian Wetland from aspects such as wetland area changes, type conversions and landscape pattern changes. Meanwhile, it systematically summarizes existing relevant studies, enhances the temporal consistency of remote sensing image data, makes accurate judgments and systematic summaries on issues including wetland area changes, type conversions and landscape pattern changes, deeply reveals the spatio-temporal evolution laws of the wetland, and provides a scientific data basis for the protection and management of the Baiyangdian Wetland and the ecological environment protection of the Xiong'an New Area.
