Flowering species specific abundance counts proximal to shrub Dodonea viscosa

In exploration of the potential effects of the shrub Dodonea viscosa on surrounding flowering plant species, the size of the shrub, soil temperature, species present and their abundances were recorded. A transect tape measured three distances of 1m, 3m, and 5m where the quadrat was placed and soil temperature recorded. Flowering species present and their abudnances within the quadrat were a representative sample of each distance.  A total of 39 shurbs were recorded and chosen via a random number generator.
